This week we show you how to build an inexpensive 12 segment antenna for picking up ADSB signals from airplanes. Never heard of ADSB? It is the newest technology on tracking airplanes. In fact, by 2020, any plane that flies over 10,000 feet. It will replace traditional radar in the future. It provides much more information than just a location like radar.
In our 2nd segment we show how we can connect up a $19 USB SDR dongle to our new antenna and see planes all around us.
