I often get asked about different radio sport contests. Most people know about field day but many new hams are not sure about the different states QSO parties.
In 2020, I recorded some of my contacts and attempts of the Maryland QSO party. The propagation that day was horrible and I ended up with a really bad score after spending a few hours throughout the day.
This is a quick look at what it is like to participate in a QSO party. Still fun, even if the electro magnetic waves are not cooperating.
