Comms Trailer For Sale
Yeah, you read that right and it is not click bait. If you have been on this site before you have seen the posts and videos about the building of the Comms Trailer.
So the first question that needs to be answered is: Why are you selling the trailer you purpose built as a communications trailer?
We moved to Florida in March of 2022. In Maryland the trailer got used regularly for things like Field Days, Bike Races, Marathons, Triathlons, Hikes, runs and more.
Since we have moved to Florida in March the trailer has not been used once. Down here they do not have regular events like bike races and marathons where amateur radio operators help with communications. The local radio club works well with the local government and gets to use their emergency communications trailer for things like field day.
I live in a community where I cannot have the trailer at my house so I have store it in a location where people keep their motorhomes and campers. Of course there is a monthly cost to keep it there.
If it is not going to get used I would rather sell it to someone that will get use out of it.
I am going to offer it up for sale with everything or everything minus the radios. Below I will list the features of the trailer and what is in it. I will then list the radios that are in the trailer.
If you want more details which includes the walkthrough of everything in it, how it was built, etc including a recent video walk around you can view this post: Building a Communications Trailer from an Enclosed Cargo Trailer #4
