A Look Back at some ARRL Summer Field Days - Ham Radio Unlimited
This video is a collection of photos and videos for Field Days from 2012 through 2021. The field days were held by my local radio club: The Frederick Amateur Radio Club (http://frederickarc.org).
For ham radio operators that have never experienced a field day and have been curious what one was like, this is just what ours looks like. Everyone does field day a little differently. But in any case it is a fun time.
In 2012 Field Day was held in a parking garage. After that, we got permission to have it in a parking lot for a Walmart that is open 24 hours. That gets lots of questions and interest from people where we can talk with them about Ham Radio and how it can be used for public service and just plain fun.
In 2021, the Walmart was not open 24 hours so we had to move the Field Day to a beautiful park.
